Catholic Health hosts free monthly COVID support group

November session will provide an update on infection and recovery resources

Are you or a loved currently dealing with the coronavirus or the aftereffects of COVID-19? Catholic Health is hosting a free monthly support group for survivors, loved ones and caregivers. The next session will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore.

The group, led by medical and social service professionals, was established in 2021 to help those impacted by COVID-19 address concerns, access helpful resources, and connect with others to share their similar journeys.

The November session is titled, “Update on COVID – The Latest Infection and Recovery Resources.” Melissa Archer and a crisis counselor from the Buffalo Urban League/NY Project Hope will describe the local services provided by the organization in collaboration with Project Hope, and also share what services are in development.
