Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter No. 268 buys meals for veterans on home-delivered meals program for Veterans Day

The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter No. 268, based in Lockport, delivered a check to the Niagara County Office for the Aging (OFA) to cover the cost of meals on Veterans Day for all the veterans enrolled in the county’s home-delivered meals program. There are nearly 90 veterans enrolled in the meal program.

The home-delivered meals program is a partnership between OFA and FeedMore WNY. Hot meals are delivered to participants’ homes, Monday through Friday, 52 weeks a year. There are more than 500 Niagara County residents currently enrolled in the program.
