Last Thursday, Grand Island High School PTSA sponsored a schoolwide visit by resilience speaker Duncan Kirkwood. With high energy and personal stories, Duncan talked about the power of resilience – and how passion, perseverance, kindness and purpose lead to success.
He shared how to commit to a goal, realize that setbacks are a part of the journey that help one grow, and to never give up. Students pledged, “I will always place my mission first. I will never accept defeat. I will never quit.” (Submitted)
