AFP WNY members submitted nominations providing evidence of their nominees’ financial support, philanthropic leadership, organizational abilities in fundraising campaigns, achievements resulting from volunteer efforts, overall community involvement, and success in recruiting and motivating others. This year’s group of winners was selected based on the association’s stringent selection criteria and historical standards of achievement.
Maryalice Demler and Scott Levin of WGRZ-TV Channel 2 will present the awards at the luncheon in front of an audience of nearly 500 guests, including community leaders and representatives from Western New York not-for-profits and businesses. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Western New York Chapter’s celebration of National Philanthropy Day.
