Niagara Amusement Park & Splash World recently announced the Silver Comet – the amusement park’s classic wooden rollercoaster, has officially reopened to the public after a three-year hiatus.

The Silver Comet was designed by Custom Coasters International and opened in 1999. The coaster has more than 2,800 feet of track, with a first drop of 82 feet and top speeds of up to 55 mph.

The Silver Comet joins a lineup of waterslides, rides, attractions, live shows, games and unique food offerings that have been introduced in phases over the course of the 2022 season.

A press release noted, “there is much more exciting news yet to come,” and those who sign up for the park’s newsletter will receive breaking news first. To sign up for the newsletter, visit the parks website: www.niagaraamusementpark.com.

Daily admission tickets are available for $19.99. Season passes are $39.99 for all ages.
Children under 36 inches tall are free when accompanied by an adult. Daily admission tickets are also available for purchase online at www.niagaraamusementpark.com/tickets.
