Lovers of those classic vehicles listen up: There’s a cool happening this weekend in North Tonawanda.
“Classics at the Carousel,” presented by Rods & Customs of Buffalo, will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, 180 Thompson St. The show is expected to spotlight many of the favorites of yesteryear, with a special welcome put out for those pre-1972 vehicles. Also included will be food trucks, 50/50s and basket raffles, plus music.
Registration fee is $20, which includes admission to the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum and one ride, plus a goodie bag for the first 100 participants. A rain date for the event is Saturday, July 30.
All proceeds will benefit the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum. For more information, visit www.carrouselmuseum.org.
