Marsha McWilson will perform a one-woman concert with a live band at the Paul Robeson Theater at 350 Masten Ave., Buffalo, on Friday, July 29. Tickets are available via her website, marshamcwilson.com.

Billed as “an intimate affair with Marsha McWilson,” the show will feature comedy and drama, as well as cover songs performed in costume, along with champagne and hors d'oeuvres.

“Come see a side of Marsha you’ve never seen before,” publicist Mark Weber said. “You’ll get the full spectrum of Marsha, as she does a mix of gospel, jazz and blues, and even some country music, too. Meanwhile, she will definitely make you laugh. And wait until you see her dressed up looking like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner and/or Patsy Cline.”

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m. For more information, call the theater at 716-884-2013.
