At approximately 5:15 a.m. Saturday, Niagara Falls Police Department officers responded to 15th Street and Pine Avenue for a report of a man shot. Upon arrival at 1504 Pine Ave., officers located a 28-year-old male suffering from numerous serious gunshot wounds, laying on the ground outside a 7-Eleven.
Officers immediately began rendering first aid until medical assistance arrived. The victim was transported to ECMC, where he underwent surgery and is currently listed in critical condition.
The shooting occurred outside the store.
