National Alliance on Mental Illness family support groups are for adult family members and caregivers (over age 18) of a loved one living with mental illness. They are described as a safe, confidential place to receive support, as well as referrals to needed resources. Groups are led by trained NAMI member volunteers with family experience of a loved one living with mental illness.
There is no fee to attend. Adult family members or caregivers anywhere in Western New York may attend a group. Preregistration is required for online groups.
