The Kiwanis Club of Northern Niagara County announced the presentation of scholarships to three deserving seniors. Pictured below are Barbara Gorzak, club secretary; Trevor Lange, scholarship winner of Newfane High School; and Donna Parent, club board member.
Additional scholarships winners were Kaelin Faery of Wilson High School and Ariana Peace of Barker Central High school.
A press release said, “Kiwanis is a global volunteer organization working to change the world one child and one community at a time.
“The Kiwanis Club of Northern Niagara County is a new entity. We meet the second and fourth Tuesdays at Brookside Restaurant in Newfane, New York, at 6:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to sit in at a meeting. If you like doing community outreach and have a few hours to spare every month, come and check us out.”
