The Buffalo Department of Public Works is alerting motorists who use Delaware Avenue, Gates Circle, Lafayette Avenue, Chapin Parkway and West Delavan Avenue to expect intermittent street closures and lane restrictions as milling and paving takes place between Gates Circle and West Delavan Avenue.
Starting this week, the $1.6 million Delaware Avenue repaving and sidewalk access project will continue, starting at Gates Circle and wrapping up at Forest Avenue by mid-July.
Signage will be in place to alert motorists to the milling and paving, as well as street repairs and utility adjustment work.
The Delaware Avenue project between North Street and Gates Circle is now complete.
