On May 30 at 7:38 p.m., the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a residential structure fire on Main Street in the Town of Porter. A responding fire chief arrived on scene and confirmed a working structure fire, with flames through the windows and roof of the building.
The occupants were able to evacuate the building and were all accounted for at the time of the fire, which was subsequently extinguished by responding fire companies. No injuries were reported.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted by the Niagara County Origin and Cause Team.
