Mother’s Day is a special opportunity to celebrate the women in our lives who love, support and guide us. LIUNA Laborers Local 210 has partnered with Erie County Legislature Chairwoman April Baskin to ensure residents have the opportunity to show their appreciation for someone they love this Mother’s Day, and for those special women to feel the love.

Local 210 and Baskin will provide premade bouquets and flowers to create custom bouquets for Delavan-Grider Community Center attendees to bring home to a family member, friend or mentor they want to celebrate this Mother’s Day. This is scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight at 877 E. Delavan Ave., Buffalo.

A press release stated, “LIUNA believes that strong unions build strong communities, and are honored to work with incredible community organizations such as the Delavan-Grider Community Center.”

The New York State Laborers' Union represents over 40,000 members employed in the construction industry and other fields throughout the state. Its members are organized into more than 24 local unions and five district councils. It is an affiliate of the Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA). Visit www.laborers210.org.
