Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue is holding a BW's Smokin' Barrels Barbecue chicken dinner fundraiser on Sunday, May 15, at Rapids Firehall, 7195 Plank Road, Lockport. Stop by between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to purchase a ½ chicken dinner cooked on site, a fresh-baked roll with butter, and a choice of two sides (potato salad, coleslaw or chef salad with Italian dressing).
Email [email protected] for details on how to purchase at a discounted rate of $11 per dinner before May 7. The price increases to $13 per dinner the day of the event.
There will also be a basket raffle at the benefit.
Organizers said, “This event helps raise funds for the medical care and supplies for the dogs and cats in DITRs, while searching for their adoptive homes.”
