Celebrating Easter in Niagara County

The Youngstown Lions Club held its annual Easter egg event at Fort Niagara State Park on April 16. In addition to giving children bags of Easter candy and a stuffed animal, Lions distributed 100 bags of Easter candy to the residents of Heritage Manor (Adult Care Facility) in Ransomville, and 25 bags of Easter candy to Community Missions for its child outreach. Easter Bunny in NT

The Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas and North Tonawanda Neighborhood Watch held a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny over the weekend. These photos were taken by member Sharif Hamdy.

For those in need, the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a nonperishable food drive to help support member food banks. Hours for donations are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday.
