Structure fire in Wheatfield

At 12:40 p.m. Thursday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received a 911 call stating there was a fire on the production floor of Silipos Inc., located at 7049 Williams Road in the Town of Wheatfield. When deputies arrived on location, all employees had evacuated. Multiple volunteer fire companies responded to extinguish the fire. An estimate of the damage is unknown at this time.

The Niagara County Origin and Cause Team responded to investigate the fire.
