FeedMore WNY’s popular plant sale is back in time for spring planting and Mother’s Day gifts. Through Monday, April 25, participants have the option to purchase hanging baskets, potted annuals, and annual flats. Orders can be placed online at www.feedmorewny.org/plant-sale.

Participants who place an online order will receive a voucher for redemption at either Lavocat's Family Greenhouse and Nursery (8441 County Road, East Amherst) or Busy Beaver Lawn and Garden (formerly Zittels Country Market; 4415 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg). The voucher only can be redeemed at the specific location for which it was purchased. Participants will be able to select their plants at Lavocat’s and Busy Beaver from May 1-31.

Proceeds from the plant sale will benefit FeedMore WNY as it continues to provide nutritious food and support to hungry community members of all ages throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties.

“FeedMore WNY’s plant sale is a wonderful way for community members to support our neighbors in need – and the timing is perfect for Mother’s Day and spring planting,” said FeedMore WNY Executive Vice President of External Affairs Lisa Woodring. “Proceeds from this fundraiser support our critical feeding programs that nourish children, families, older adults and veterans who struggle with food insecurity.”

FeedMore WNY offers dignity, hope and a brighter future by providing nutritious food, friendship and skills training to its Western New York neighbors in need. Through its food bank distribution center and partner hunger-relief agencies, as well as its home-delivered meal program, other targeted feeding programs and RISE workforce development training, FeedMore WNY alleviates hunger and assists community members of all ages throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties.
