Sweepstakes will benefit The Summit Center

The Giving Project has teamed up with former “Big Brother” cast member Britini D’Angelo in a campaign benefiting The Summit Center. The “Britini D’Angelo Fundraiser: Benefiting the Summit Center” aims to raise $10,000 to benefit the Summit Center’s ongoing mission of providing lifechanging support to individuals living with developmental disabilities like autism.

Four donors will receive a 15-minute Zoom call with D’Angelo. Ten more donors will receive a $25 gift card to one of 10 popular stores and restaurants, including Kohl’s, Uber, Disney and Outback Steakhouse, to name a few. Additionally, anyone who donates $25 or more will receive an autographed photo of D’Angelo.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, D’Angelo has gained a widespread fanbase through being featured on season 23 of “Big Brother” on CBS. Her TikTok account has over 300,000 followers. She earned her master’s degree in early childhood and childhood education from Niagara University, along with other degrees and certifications in theater, child education and communications. Diagnosed as autistic herself, she has dedicated her life to destigmatizing autism and increasing awareness and acceptance to the neurodivergent community.

The Summit Center played a significant role in D’Angelo’s childhood by providing extensive support in improving communication, direction following, socialization and goal setting through multiple weekly hours of one-on-one intervention.

The Britini D’Angelo campaign is live on The Giving Project’s website. It runs until Saturday, April 30.

Located in Western New York, The Summit Center is one of the leading not-for-profit agencies serving individuals with developmental, social and behavioral challenges, including autism. With a staff of 500 professionals, it provides evidence-based educational, behavioral health, adult, and community programs to 1,350 children and adults each year.
