Niagara University offering free spring-themed activities & screenings for children

“Books, Balls and Blocks,” Niagara University’s popular children’s educational program, is back this spring and will be offered in several Niagara County locations during the month of April.

Funded by the United Way of Greater Niagara, this free program will provide hands-on, spring-themed games, art activities, and interactive stories for children between the ages of 4 months and 6 years. Children will receive a book, ball and blocks, and their parents will be provided with fun activities to do at home. Developmental screenings will be offered, and pizza and refreshments will be provided.

•Thursday, April 21 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Niagara Falls Public Library, LaSalle location (8728 Buffalo Ave.)

•Saturday, April 23 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Niagara Falls Public Library (1425 Main St.)

•Saturday, April 30 | 11a.m.-1 p.m.

Niagara University Family Literacy Center (Academic Complex, Room 125)
