Bringing AIR Studios session to physical & digital platforms for first time
√ Spring & summer tour set to begin
A decade later, a decade of gratitude: Today, Bon Iver, Jagjaguwar and 4AD release the 10th anniversary edition of 2011's pivotal and praised album, “Bon Iver, Bon Iver.” In addition to all 10 of the self-titled record's original songs, the commemorative reissue features five performances from Justin Vernon and Sean Carey's AIR Studios session, available in physical formats and across DSPs for the very first time.
Sitting at opposite ends of grand pianos, rearranging album highlights such as "Beth/Rest," the “Blood Bank” EP's "Babys," Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and more, the two longtime Bon Iver bandmates and vocalists not only capture the grand spirit of “Bon Iver, Bon Iver,” but distill it into sharper focus.
Featuring a reimagined, blind embossed version of the album's cover art – as well as a personal essay from devout Bon Iver fan Phoebe Bridgers, delving deeper into the "massive, sprawling, unbelievably complex" collection of music – “Bon Iver, Bon Iver (10th Anniversary Edition)” is out now on CD, two-times white vinyl LP and digital platforms.

Next week, Bon Iver will return to the road for their first US tour since a 2019 series of arena shows supporting the band's latest album, “i,i.” Beginning March 30 in Mesa, Arizona, the run of two-dozen dates will span spring and summer, including stops at NYC's Forest Hills Stadium, Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater, a sold-out Moody Amphitheater in Austin, Texas.
Bon Iver performs at Artpark on June 7.
Ahead of the upcoming tour, the Bon Iver live band of Justin Vernon, Sean Carey, Jenn Wasner, Mike Lewis, Matt McCaughan and Andy Fitzpatrick recently delivered a pair of performances at LA's YouTube Theater. Honoring the 10th anniversary of “Bon Iver, Bon Iver” this past fall, the concerts earned glowing reviews that called the stage production "so impressive that a review can't capture it as well as just this simple advice: go see Bon Iver, as soon as possible" (UPROXX).
Throughout one of the "most anticipated tours of 2022" (Variety), Bon Iver, the band’s team said, “will offer growing audiences even greater moments of gratitude, gathering in celebration of community and togetherness; an opportunity for healing and reflection on the path towards a brighter future. Each date will continue to highlight the work of different charitable partners, via Bon Iver's own 2 A Billion campaign, raising support, awareness, and person-to-person connections in an effort to end gender inequity, domestic violence, and sexual abuse.”
