The Northern Niagara County Kiwanis Club has college scholarships available. The group is looking to award three scholarships to graduating seniors in the school districts of Wilson, Newfane and Barker. Applications are available in the guidance department of these three school districts and must be returned by Tuesday, May 10.
Kiwanis is a 107-year-old, member-driven, community-focused service organization. Its members build playgrounds, read to children, mentor kids from elementary school through college, and prepare and serve meals to families in need. Membership is both local, national and global.
Members said, “If you care about children and if you are willing to work to shape future leaders, or help feed a family in need, or provide assistance with continuing education, contact the Northern Niagara County Kiwanis Club president at 716-799-3839.”
