The City of Buffalo Animal Shelter is holding a St. Patrick’s Day-themed “meet and greet” from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at 380 N. Oak St.
The outdoor, no-appointment-necessary event will feature more than two-dozen dogs and cats looking to get lucky by finding their forever home.
Dog owners who are looking to add another canine to their pack are encouraged to bring their resident pet with them to the event.
For more information on the available animals, or to get preapproval to adopt, visit www.friendsofcbas.org. Adoption fees must be paid by check or cash at the event. Credit cards will not be accepted.
The shelter also announced it is once again open to the public for walk-in services, including surrenders, stray drop-off, lost pet reunification, euthanasia and donations.
Walk-in hours are: Monday – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesday – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday – 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Thursday – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Friday – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Saturday – 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
