Chvrches will perform at Artpark on June 9

Synth-pop group Chvrches will perform in the Artpark Mainstage Theater at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9. The show is presented by Live Nation.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday. Reserved seating is $27.50 to $49.50. Purchase online at ticketmaster.com. The Artpark box office will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 4 at 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston.

Chvrches is Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty. Since emerging in 2013 with their U.S. and U.K. Top 10 breakthrough album “The Bones of What You Believe,” the band has projected an insularity and a left-of-the-middle approach, focusing on self-producing its work to find a unique balance between the dark and the light – between alternative and pop. Chvrches released their fourth album, “Screen Violence,” last year, which was created remotely between Los Angeles and Glasgow during the pandemic.
