The Gliding Stars of Western New York will present the return of their annual ice show, “Thank Goodness We’re Back!” at the Northtown Center at Amherst, 1615 Manor Drive in Williamsville, at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 26.
Organizers said, “Fun for the whole family, skaters and volunteers will celebrate their return on the ice after almost two years through various routines that pay tribute to the years 1820-now.”
Over 100 skaters and 150 volunteers will participate in the ice show, which brings together people who have been skating at rinks in Hamburg and Niagara Falls since October.
Tickets are $10 in advance (call 716-608-8345 to reserve) or $12 at the door. Admission is free for children ages 3 and under.
Founded in 1994, the adaptive ice skating program for individuals with disabilities, headquartered in Buffalo, now has seven chapters in four states and continues to grow.
