YMCA Buffalo Niagara’s “Y on the Fly” program will be partnering with the Niagara SPCA for a hands-on education program with children in Niagara Falls this weekend.
The education program will take place at the Niagara Falls Public Library, located at 1425 Main St., from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday. It aims to provide children the opportunity to learn more about the SPCA and its impact in the community. The SPCA will also bring in multiple animals as part of the program. A free lunch will be provided to members of the community who attend this weekend’s event.
“Y on the Fly” is a mobile YMCA that visits neighborhoods and offers free programs aimed at helping youth of all ages stay active and engaged in mind, body and spirit. It provides healthy meals to children and families, educational enrichment, physical activities and games.
