After temporarily dimming the lights and closing The Avalon Theatre inside Fallsview Casino Resort last month, the venue said it is excited to announce “show lights are shining bright in anticipation of a stellar March entertainment lineup!”

Vice President of Marketing for Niagara Casinos Cathy Price said, “We are thrilled to once again offer legendary entertainment experiences to our patrons, with safety being the top priority. We remain committed to the safety of our guests and associates, and will continue to adhere to all public health measures as we get back to providing the world-class entertainment our guests know and love!”

Starting the month off is Jersey Nights – a celebration of the Jersey Boys March 9-16. A tribute show to the greatest hits of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, audience members will enjoy all-time classics like “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man” and “December, 1963 (Oh What a Night).”

On March 18-19, experience the a-cappella stylings of Straight No Chaser with their “Back In The High Life” Tour. The has sold over 1.6 million albums while working with musical legends including Sir Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Sir Elton John.

Enjoy the original and timeless rock ‘n’ roll sound of The Platters on March 22-23. Cited as the most groundbreaking vocal group of the early rock ‘n’ roll era, their iconic hits include “The Great Pretender,” “Twilight Time,” “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes” and “Only You (And You Alone).”

March concludes with Forever Plaid, featuring a close-harmony quartet reminiscent of classic 1950s groups The Four Aces and The Four Freshman. Forever Plaid performers Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie will execute charmingly outlandish choreography with their classic barbershop melodies that tells the story of The Plaids, returning from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory. Catch a matinee or evening performance from March 26-31.

In accordance with Ontario Public Health mandates, guests will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, by the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code and valid government-issued identification, to enter the theater. Guests must also receive their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated. Capacity restrictions will also be in effect where required. More information can be found here.

Forever Plaid tickets go on sale at noon today. Tickets for all other performances are currently on sale. Call Ticketmaster at 1-877-833-3110 or purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.ca.
