The Erie County Department of Health has expanded its coronavirus testing operations to the Jesse Nash Health Center at 608 William St., Buffalo. This site is offering free COVID-19 testing from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. weekdays. Walk-ins/drive-ups are welcome; appointments will be accepted, but not required.
The ECDOH COVID-19 testing site at the Erie County Fire Training Academy (3359 Broadway, Cheektowaga) is a free drive-thru testing site that will also accept people without an appointment starting Jan. 31. Days and hours of operation at this site may vary; call 716-858-2929 to confirm the site is open.
Available tests will include the coronavirus PCR test, with results available in one to three business days, and a rapid ID Now test, with results available on-site.
