The Wilson Lions Club’s annual Christmas party took place at the historic Wilson House. After a two-year pause due to COVID-19, the event took place with a host of guests. In attendance were two Lions past district governors: James Muscoreil (Wilson Lions) and Jeffery Jarvis (Pendleton Lions).
Local vocalist and Lion Judy Rodgers entertained the group with a solo of “Carol of the Manger,” and then led the group into a spirted round of Christmas carols.
Lions President Anne Basile said the theme for the new year is “Make Volunteering your New Year’s Resolution! Join a Lions Club!” She said the club will host a “Meatball Throwdown Contest” fundraiser in February.
