During the annual Lewiston Christmas Walk, the proudly Binational Rotary Club of Lewiston & Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, offered locally made holiday-scented candles for sale, with net proceeds to benefit Ransomville’s Care-N-Share. The food pantry serves an average of 320 individuals every month, providing food for families to prepare at home.

The Lewiston/NOTL Rotary Club, serving communities on both sides of the Niagara River since 1938, is part of a global network of 1.4 million individuals of all races, creeds and orientations who seek to improve communities, internationally and locally.

The club thanked Keller Williams and Century 21 Realty offices for generously allowing members to sell the candles at venues on Center Street.

A few candles are still available. Those interested in candles, or learning more about Rotary, can contact Past President Ron Danielewicz at 716-870-1307.
