Cornerstone Community FCU is the presenting sponsor for the Town of Amherst Holiday Market. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. CCFCU recently celebrated its first physical location in Erie County, at 315 Stahl Road, Getzville.
This Holiday Market is the second annual on the grounds of Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village at 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road. Last year, the market saw attendance in excess of 1,300 guests and 25 local vendors. This year, the market features more than 30 local farmers and vendors in an outdoor space. Also on hand will be food trucks, a plant sale, children's stories read aloud, and giveaways. Admission and parking are free.
Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village Director Carrie Stiver said, "We look forward to the unique opportunity to partner with Cornerstone Community FCU for this second annual Holiday Market. With BNHV's mission to preserve, interpret and exhibit the agricultural history and rural history of the Buffalo Niagara Region, this event brings craft and community together and enables us to highlight the 21st century in our off-season. We are hoping for some snow so visitors can see the beauty of our historic village in the wintertime."
Vice President and Director of Marketing Ashleah Canastraro said she is pleased to have Cornerstone Community FCU as presenting sponsor of the event. "As a credit union focused on community, we are committed to identifying events such as these that contribute to the economic growth of Western New York. Collaborating with the Town of Amherst and BNHV is a wonderful way to support our businesses, farmers, vendors and visitors coming out to celebrate this joyous season."
No dogs are allowed on the grounds of Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village; however, service animals are welcome. To learn more about the event, visit https://fb.me/e/LzBxbUH1. For information on CCFCU, visit cornerstonecommunityfcu.org.
