St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral will have a “Festal Choral Evensong for the Third Sunday in Advent.” The event takes place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at 139 Pearl St., Buffalo.
St. Paul's Cathedral choir, under the direction of Canon Robert Duerr, will sing music by Kenneth Leighton and Henry Purcell. A string ensemble will accompany the choir in Purcell’s rarely heard anthem, “Rejoice in the Lord Alway.”
The event is free. It will be livestreamed at www.SPCBuffalo.org.
Upcoming festal choral events are set for 4 p.m. Jan. 9, Feb. 6, March 6 and April 3, 2022.
