The Lewiston Family Ice Rink opened this weekend, thanks in part to a $1,000 donation from Great Lakes Real Estate.
Town of Lewiston Board members Bill Geiben and Rob Morreale stopped into the office to receive a check from Bruce Andrews.
The rink welcomed skaters back on Friday. Opening week hours are as follows:
√ Saturday, Nov. 20, 4-10 p.m.
√ Sunday, Nov. 21, noon to 8 p.m.
√ Monday, Nov. 22, 4-8 p.m.
√ Tuesday, Nov. 23, 4-10 p.m.
√ Wednesday, Nov. 24, noon to 10 p.m.
√ Thanksgiving, TBD
√ Friday, Nov. 26, noon to 10 p.m.
A daily skate pass is $5, as is a daily skate rental. For those looking to make frequent trips, a family season pass is $75 or a single season pass is $45.
Venue rules are as follows:
√ Masks are required in the tent, not on the ice, but recommended anywhere crowds gather.
√ Outside food and drink are not allowed in the tent.
√ All children under age 12 are required to wear a helmet when on the ice.
