The Fairgrounds Festival of Lights drive-thru will return to brighten up the holiday season for families across Western New York this December.
The route will include a variety of new displays consisting of more than 70 variations of LED light displays, arches and light tunnels. Additionally, organizers have partnered with the Field twins, winners of the “Great Christmas Light Fight,” to incorporate masterpieces into the show.
“We wanted to continue to provide a holiday event that is safe and fun for the whole family,” said Jessica Underberg, CEO of the Erie County Agricultural Society.
This year, tickets will be sold online, and guests must select the night they would like to visit. There will be a limited number of tickets available each night. Tickets will go on sale starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 1 for $20 per vehicle (plus fees) at www.FairgroundsHoliday.com.
“In an effort to help reduce wait times and create a more enjoyable experience, the number of tickets sold for each night will be limited,” Underberg said.
The event will be open from 5-9 p.m. every night in December, except Christmas Eve and Christmas.
Last year, families decorated their vehicles, brought their pets along for the ride, and brought dinner and snacks to enjoy while driving through the lights.
