Niagara County legislators Becky Wydysh and Irene Myers announced Windsong Radiology will bring its mobile 3-D screening mammography unit to the Village of Lewiston on Saturday, Nov. 6.

“I am very happy to welcome back the Windsong mobile mammogram unit to our community to provide mammogram screenings,” Wydysh said. “Each time we host this event, we see many women take advantage of this opportunity.”

The screening will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Red Brick Municipal Building, 145 N. Fourth St. Participants must schedule an appointment with Windsong prior to the event. There is a limited number of appointments.

“The fact is, too many of our residents do not get the preventative health care services they need, and one reason for that is accessibility,” Myers said. “That is why we bring the mobile unit right to our backyard. I know from my own personal experience that early detection is key, so please make your appointment.”

For more information, or to book an appointment, call Windsong at 716-929-9494 or sign up at www.windsongradiology.com/mobile.
