Shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, Niagara Falls Police Department responded to 1028 South Ave., for a report of an unresponsive man found in the hallway. Upon arrival, an officer located a deceased, 42-year-old Niagara Falls resident who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation is ongoing and at this time no arrests have been made.

The non-emergency phone numbers had been down but are now available again for public use. The Falls is still experiencing issues with phone service into City Hall and this is still being worked on by technicians from the service provider.
