Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers announced Windsong Radiology will bring its mobile 3-D screening mammography unit to Ransomville on Saturday, June 12.

“'I am very happy to welcome back the Windsong mobile mammogram unit to our community to provide mammogram screenings,” she said. “The fact is too many of our residents do not get the preventative health care services they need and one reason for that is accessibility. That is why we bring this unit right to our backyard.”

The screening will take place from 8-11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at the Ransomville Fire Co., 2521 Youngstown Lockport Road. One must schedule an appointment with Windsong prior to the event. There are a limited number of appointments.

“I hope those who have been putting off getting a mammogram will attend this event,” Myers said. “I know from my own personal experience that early detection is key so make your appointment.”

For more information or to book an appointment, call Windsong 716-929-9494 or sign up at www.windsongradiology.com/mobile.
