North Tonawanda Mayor Arthur G. Pappas released a statement announcing City Hall would allow regular walk-in traffic starting Tuesday, May 25:
“As I am sure many of you are aware, guidelines have recently changed in New York. After consulting with the Niagara County Department of Health, and reviewing policies with department heads, we are allowing walk-in traffic in city buildings again starting Tuesday, May 25. For the time being, we are still requiring people to wear masks and maintain social distance when possible. We are also still asking visitors to sign contact tracing sheets when they arrive at the departments where they are doing business.”
Until now, City Hall had only been open by appointment.
