Town of Niagara announces return of 'Music Mania Mondays'

A popular summer concert series is returning to Niagara County in 2021.

On Monday, Town of Niagara Supervisor Lee Wallace said, “It is with great pleasure and anticipation that the Town of Niagara is pleased to announce the return of our ‘Music Mania Mondays’ concert series. We are currently the process of developing a plan that will allow us to have our concert series and, at the same time follow the New York state requirements as they apply to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Below is the complete tentative schedule:

July 3

• 2 p.m., Black Crowes tribute band
• 4 p.m., Out On The Tiles (Led Zeppelin tribute) 
• 6 p.m., Grand Illusion (Styx tribute) 
• 8 p.m., Straight On (Heart tribute)

July 5

• 6:30 p.m., Seventh Sign
• 8 p.m., What A Fool Believes (Doobie Bros. tribute)

July 12

• 6:30 p.m., The Strangers 
• 8 p.m., Disco 54 (disco tribute) 

July 19

• 6:30 p.m., Rock Angel 
• 8 p.m., Hotel California (Eagles tribute) 

July 26

• 6:30 p.m., Impact 
• 8 p.m., Nerds Gone Wild (’80s music)

Aug. 2

• 6:30 p.m., Black Widow 
• 8 p.m., Turnstiles (Billy Joel tribute) 

Aug. 9

Dates, times and performers are subject to change. 

Wallace said, “We will continue to monitor the daily and weekly updates and changes, as mandated by the governor as we prepare for our 2021 concert season, as well as those established by the Niagara County Health Department. In mid-June, we will announce the protocols and procedures that must be followed for those wishing to attend.

The series will kick-off with our Independence Day celebration, ‘Pride in the Park,’ on July 3. This is an all- day event followed by our spectacular fireworks display.”
