Chris Tomlin and Max Lucado delivered songs and messages of hope this Easter weekend for the second consecutive year with “Good Friday Worldwide” on April 2. The television and radio broadcast with TBN, K-LOVE, Air 1 and more than 30 additional radio stations could be seen and heard in over 32 countries as people around the globe gathered to worship all at the same time and in the same moment.
Lucado delivered a powerful and timely message. Tomlin led worship along with Pat Barrett and We The Kingdom. And in the spirit of “Good Friday Nashville” and its history of surprise guests, “Good Friday Worldwide” featured award-winning group Lady A as the previously unannounced special guest. Together, they performed their six-week No. 1 single “Who You Are To Me” off Tomlin’s most recent album, “Chris Tomlin & Friends.” To close the night, they joined Tomlin and Barrett for a powerful rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
Tomlin will return to “Good Friday Nashville” on April 15, 2022, and indefinitely in years forward, to make an impact in Music City and Tennessee by donating proceeds back to the communities. Since the inception of “Good Friday Nashville” in 2017 when it broke the attendance record as the largest ticketed Christian concert in the history of Bridgestone Arena, “Good Friday Nashville” has sold-out each year. In 2019, the concert smashed its earlier history-making attendance record.
