Assemblyman Angelo Morinello and the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators announced they will award four scholarships (two academic and two athletic) at this year’s Italian-American Day on May 24.
The four scholarships will be for $4,000 each and are available to residents of New York state who are current college students or high school seniors entering college. The legislators announced students can complete the application by visiting the website https://www.nyiacsl.org/. The deadline for applications is Friday, March 19.
“I encourage all prospective and current college students to apply for this tremendous scholarship,” Morinello said. “There are so many talented, creative and inquisitive students across the 145th, and this is a great opportunity to be rewarded for the hard work and determination you have demonstrated throughout your academic careers. I also want to thank the Italian-American State Legislators for offering this to our deserving students each year.”
