Niagara Falls: Stabbing victim dies from injuries

On Tuesday, Dec. 15, at approximately 6 p.m. 49-year-old Thomas James Anderson was stabbed near his home on the 600 block of 20th Street. At the time of this event, he was conscious and talking. He was taken by ambulance to ECMC for treatment.

Anderson was treated at ECMC. The following day, detectives attempted to follow-up with him at the hospital, but Anderson was no longer admitted as a patient at that time.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Anderson died in the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center emergency room.

Following an autopsy, the death is being ruled as a homicide resulting from the injuries sustained in Tuesday's stabbing.
