The Niagara Active Hose Volunteer Fire Department converted its banquet facility into a virtual learning center for the children of active and social members to attend classes virtually, yet still in a routine, group setting. The fire chief and families felt it imperative that widespread contact be limited so that, in case of infection within the schools, there would be no increased risk of endangering the community or jeopardizing the firemen’s ability to respond to calls.

The students recently had an in-house picture day. The company said students were all very excited to thank the fire department for its concern and support.
