Adrian's awards community scholarships

Toni Amantia of Adrian’s Custard & Beef, at 2352 Grand Island Blvd., presented two scholarships to Grand Island seniors last week as part of the inaugural Adrian’s community scholarship program.

Amantia presented an Adrian’s employee scholarship of $1,000 to Kayla Robinson, a three-year employee at Adrian’s. Robinson will attend Frostburg State University in Maryland in the fall where she will play for the women’s soccer team and study athletic training.

Bergstrom received a $1,000 award from Adrian’s. The first DECA state president in Grand Island High School history, she will attend Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, to study business administration.
