Things certainly don’t look the same, but one thing hasn’t changed: the debilitating impact of Alzheimer’s disease. The recent months have not made things any easier – the pandemic has caused isolation, loneliness and grief for too many families. The work of the Alzheimer’s Association has never been more important, as it continues to provide resources to those facing the long days and nights of Alzheimer’s disease.
For a third year in a row, The GreenFields will partner with the WNY Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association to fight back and raise critically needed funds to further research and to provide free information and supportive services to those who need them.
At noon Thursday, July 23, The GreenFields will host a drive-thru Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Dinners are $12 each and include homemade sides. The fundraiser is cash-only and will last until the chicken runs out.
All proceeds raised support the Alzheimer’s Association, WNY Chapter.
