IOOF donates to worthwhile causes

Sacarissa Bell Rose Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) has been busy distributing checks to community organizations. At the January meeting, it was decided to send checks of support to the Red Jacket Club; Heart, Love & Soul of Niagara Falls; and Community Cats Alive of Lewiston.

The members of IOOF said they “appreciate these organizations that do important work in our community.”

IOOF’s mission is to improve and elevate every person to a higher, nobler plane; to extend sympathy and aid to those in need; to war against vice in every form; and to be a moral power and influence for the good of humanity.

Sacarissa Bell Rose Lodge is located on Center Street in Lewiston and meets bimonthly from September to July. For more information, contact Nobel Grand Dale Campbell at 716-602-2430.
