The Youngstown Lions annual holiday lighting contest will take place the evening of Friday, Dec. 20. Lions Club members will judge home decorations from the areas of Lower River Road to Porter Center Road, from Lake Road to Porter town line, and in the Village of Youngstown.
Area residents are invited to participate. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and being in the Christmas/holiday spirit. Three prizes are offered: first place is a $100 gift card; second place a $75 gift card; and third place a $50 gift card.
Homeowners who have won in the past three years are not eligible for this year's contest.
