'Step Up to the Plate' at Dash's Market

Annual campaign supports FeedMore Foundation of WNY

Community members can help feed their homebound neighbors in need while grocery shopping at Dash’s Market through the annual “Step Up to the Plate” campaign. Now through Dec. 8, patrons of all Dash’s Market locations have the option to add a $1, $3 or $5 donation at checkout to benefit the FeedMore Foundation of WNY’s Meals on Wheels program.

This is the ninth year for the “Step Up to the Plate” campaign. Launched in 2011, the fundraiser has generated more than $66,000 in donations for the FeedMore Foundation of WNY.

“We are so grateful for the continued support of Dash’s Market and its generous customers,” said Lisa Woodring, chief development officer for the FeedMore Foundation of WNY. “The ‘Step Up to The Plate’ partnership helps our organization continue the critical work of our Meals on Wheels program, which provides nutritious food and friendship to our homebound neighbors in need.”
