Culinary arts students at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center recently lent a helping hand to Niagara Hospice. Teacher Bob Ihle and his students made and donated cookies to the Hospice House in Lockport for its "Day of Remembrance Celebration."
The event is held twice a year and is a private ceremony for families whose family member(s) passed away while in Niagara Hospice care. It is a special ceremony to celebrate the life of the families’ loved ones, and the culinary arts students were proud to be part of it.
