Lewiston resident M. Jacquie Lodico has published her first book, titled “Anna, Blanche, Then Me.” A press release noted, “The book contains sadness and humor, local history, exciting travel adventures and many interesting relationships.”

“Anna, Blanche, Then Me” tells the story of three generations of women, the first of whom lived in poverty in a dirt-floor hut in Quebec, Canada, to the third who received an honor on the stage of Lincoln Center in New York City.

The author, the mother of six children, was the former executive director of the Niagara Council of the Arts and a founding member of A Festival of Lights, and the Niagara Montessori School – now located at Stella Niagara. She was also the owner and tour manager of Thibery Tours LLC.

The book is available on Amazon. It will be available at the Lewiston Public Library from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. Lodico is expected to be present for a book signing.
