Island BodyWorks opens in new plaza

Grand Island’s newest plaza is home to Island BodyWorks.

Lisa Trunzo of Island BodyWorks physical therapy held a ribbon-cutting for her business at 2099 Grand Island Blvd., Suite B, this week. Her location in the Island’s newest business center is what she called a “calming atmosphere” that offers essentially more of everything: more space (at 1800 square feet) provides for new private wings for stretching programs, and new tools for those for people with soft tissue restrictions.

The practice has grown to six employees, and more space offers room for new group exercise classes, that an increasing number of her patients have attended.

Island BodyWorks is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday; and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.
